For many years, I had always dreamed of doing an engagement session on a sailboat. It’s unique, it’s fun, and the colors of the water contrasting with the sun really is intensified by film. So when Kelly and Austin suggested we do their engagement photos on his dad’s sailboat, my heart skipped a beat. It was also so personal being that this sailboat is Austin’s father’s pride and joy. I love the incorporation of personal elements like that into all wedding events- not just the wedding itself.

Kelly and Austin recently got married in Gulf Shores, Alabama and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to share more from their wedding day soon! Here’s a little about their love story from Kelly herself… “Austin and I met in Middle School (he was my 8th grade boyfriend!) I always knew we had a special bond and we remained friends throughout high school and college. It was our senior year of college when we began dating. Austin and I would travel back and forth between Gainesville and Tallahassee to visit each other all year. After graduation we moved back to Tampa and coincidentally both became tax accountants. We dated for 6 years filled with lots of adventure and traveling – including a month long road trip across the country! Austin proposed on NYE 2020 outside of our Airbnb in Sorrento, Italy with the sunset in the background!”
