In August, Michael and I went to Portland for the Canvas Conference. It is a creativity and theology conference held by Humble Beast Records. While we were there we also got to visit my good friends at PhotoVision.,They are the true heroes behind Kati Rosado Photography! They develop and scan my film and do such an amazing job. I barely have to edit them when I get my film scans back. But also, while we were in town, we got to meet up with Jake and Anne of SweetLife Photography! We shot a little family session and fine art portrait session at Monet Vineyards in Washington,. And they shot some photos of Michael and I as well. And my new headshot was shot by Jake!

Here is a little more about Jake, Anna, and their sweet babe Noah… “Jake and I met in college and always knew we wanted to start a family. We were married in 2009 and started our photography business in 2010. And quickly decided to put all of our attention and focus on Sweetlife for the next few years. For us, the decision to wait a bit to have kids was so good because it gave us the time we needed to build a solid foundation in our marriage and our business. Last year we finally felt somewhat ready to start our family and I say the word ready lightly! Shortly after that, God blessed us with a winter baby, with my due date smack dab in the middle of our slow season – hallelujah! The transition into parenthood is intense, so it helped immensely knowing that we’d be able to take some time off after Noah was born. 

 We’ve absolutely loved becoming parents – from pregnancy to labor & delivery to becoming Mom & Dad – it’s such an adventure and so deeply fulfilling. Noah is a constant reminder of God’s great love for us – children really are such a blessing!

 Time seems to be flying now that we can watch Noah growing and changing almost daily, so these 6 month family photos are such a treasure and time capsule! Kati, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing our little family!”
