Every wedding day is approached with the understanding that the most meaningful moments are often the quietest ones: a deep breath before walking down the aisle, the way your new husband looks at you during dinner speeches, the movement of your dress in the Newport ocean breeze, or the embrace of family right after you were announced husband and wife. One of the best ways my style has ever been described back to me is this…”approachable luxury.” This description just makes my heart soar. It’s everything I hope every image encapsulates- an elevated, thoughtful approach without being pretentious or too stuffy. This is what I personally believe weddings are all about.

The last thing I want is for my couples to feel like their wedding day is a photo shoot. I respect the fact that this is your actual, once-in-a-lifetime wedding, not necessarily a production. I always aim to be efficient with my time, so you can actually be present on your wedding day.
One thing I hear most from clients is “we are awkward in front of the camera,” and naturally, everyone wants direction that feels organic. One of the most important parts of my client experience is creating an environment where couples feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully present throughout their wedding day. I want even your portraits to be a part of your memories.
Rather than relying on stiff posing or overly curated moments, I provide natural direction that allows couples to interact organically while still creating timeless images. I want you to look at a photo and remember the hilariously silly thing your spouse whispered in your ear in that moment.
The goal is never perfection, it is connection.

The foundation of my work is blending fine art wedding photography with documentary storytelling. This approach combines intentional composition, natural light, and thoughtful imagery with real moments and authentic emotion. Every gallery is designed to feel timeless rather than trend-driven. The focus is on preserving emotion, atmosphere, movement, and meaningful details in a way that will still feel beautiful decades from now.

Using Film to lay the foundation of Timelessness
I photograph in both 35mm film, medium format film, and mirrorless digital formats. I am a believer that one medium is not better than the other, it’s just about the story you are trying to tell in that moment. I combine all 3 mediums to tell the story of the day and edit the digital to match the film so it all comes together cohesively and seamlessly in your final gallery.
One big reasonI is because it forces me to slow down. In a world where everyone can take an unlimited amount of images, it’s easy to lose intentionality. Film forces me to be extremely thoughtful about every decision- composition, exposure, aperture, timing. It really forces me to create an image rather than merely take one.

It’s no secret I love color. If you look at my website, you can probably tell right away. I love vibrant color and I lean towards brighter exposure but I am a big believer in balance as well. I do not want highlights to be blown out, I still want to see the details in your wedding dress. As much as an editorial approach can look cool, I want you to look joyful in your wedding photos!
