In addition to being a wedding photographer, I am also a photography educator. One of my favorite things to do are styled mentor sessions. The shoot has two purposes. Because I curate the aesthetics of the shoot to fit the photographer’s branding or rebranding, the images will be perfect for their portfolio. Also during this time, I will teach the photographer about posing, lighting, settings, composition, styling flatlays, and so much more. In this case, Amber wanted to learn more about shooting film. I was so incredibly proud of her, she shot film the entire time and din’t pick up her digital camera once! As a Charleston wedding photographer, I am so pleased with how this shoot turned out.
We shot this beautiful styled shoot in Charleston, South Carolina at the Mills House and Zero George. Be sure to also check out all the other lovely weddings I have photographed in Charleston here. If you would live to learn more about my mentor sessions or my styled shoot mentor session, you can view that here. Educating fellow photographers is one of the things I love most in life. I want to see you thrive! Contact me today to get started planning your styled shoot mentor session.
Thank you to all the incredible vendors who made this shoot possible! I always love working in Charleston and can’t wait until I can go back. This was such an incredible team of wedding vendors, I hope we can join forces again soon to create magic!
