Brooke, Clayton and I had such a wonderful afternoon exploring Jones street in Downtown Savannah as well as Wormsloe Historic Site. These two sweethearts are getting married next year in Austin, Texas. And I can’t wait to capture their love story on fine art wedding photography.

From Brooke…” Clayton and I met in high school. We actually ran around in the same crowds back then. We hung out a few times in high school. Funny story, because he apparently thought they were dates, but I was naive and totally just thought we were friends! So, when I rejected him he pretty much acted like he hated me from that point on haha. We bickered the rest of our days in high school. He drove me crazy! Then a few years later we ran into each other when he was home for Christmas from the Coast Guard Academy. I was home from college for the holidays as well and something just sparked and we started talking everyday since.

We did that for 6 months before we started dated long distance. He always said I was the one that got away to him. He’s now an engineer in the coast guard and we just found out we are moving to Fort Lauderdale for his new assignment. With knowing that, we are finally solidifying our plans to get married in the hill country back in Austin, Texas where the majority of our friends and family are.”
