Seth & Deedee, The Quincy Garden Center, Tallahassee, Florida

DeeDee and Seth are two of the most humble and kind people I have ever met. I knew from the start that their wedding would be simply amazing and it exceeded every one of my expectations. DeeDee actually inquired with me before she found her venue. So I made it my goal to help her find the perfect venue. I recommended the Quincy Garden Center Tallahassee. One of the most lovely hidden gems just outside of Tallahassee, Florida.

I loved that the whole wedding day took place entirely on this historic property. The reception was located under large oak trees in the front lawn of the house. It was of of the most romantic weddings I have ever had the privilege of photographing.

From the Bride… “Seth and I met at church believe it or not. I guess you could say we are pretty old school. He opens the car door for me and makes sure I walk on the inside of him on a sidewalk or in a parking lot (chivalry is NOT dead!). Our wedding was a reflection of how it has felt from our dating to marriage seasons of life. Like it is too good to be true! Don’t get me wrong, our relationship is not perfect. And there are plenty of not pictured moments like my big brother catching a napkin on fire at the dinner table. I couldn’t even come up with that myself to make it up but it truly was hilarious.

Our favorite moment by far was our “first touch”. In that moment we got to pray together just before our intimate backyard style wedding, surrounded by our family and friends; the family we choose.”
