Mary Catharine & Cody’s Engagement Session at Old Sheldon Church Ruins

Mary Catharine and Cody had the sweetest little Southern engagement session at Old Sheldon Church Ruins, a lovely historic landmark outside of Charleston, SC. They will be tying the knot in Charleston later this fall. Of course, these two love birds could not leave out their precious pup, who definitely wanted to be a part of the action! Walter the Doodle (he even has his own Instagram!) was the best little model and was so cooperative during our shoot (except for a few photo bombs here and there- but the couple loved that, because that is just his personality!) I can’t wait to photograph these two and their sweet pup in just a few months!

If you love ancient architecture, old-world charm and whimsical oak trees, the Old Sheldon Church Ruins is the perfect setting for a photoshoot. Built in the mid 1700’s, it was the first attempt at building a Greek temple in the United States. And even though the church has crumbled over the years, it provides an incredible backdrop for your love story.
